In the winter of 2010 PIC Agency out of Hollywood, California brought me out to work in-house on the Detroit Auto Show launch video for the release of Audi’s new A6.  Our team of four worked like crazy dealing with an incredibly tight deadline, to create as photo realistic a look as possible on this almost four minute piece.  My role was animation, compositing, and effects specifically for the segments of 0:50-1:34 and 2:13-2:18.  It was an amazing experience working with the team at PIC Agency and we were all proud of the results.

I was brought back in to work with my good friends at Impossible to finish my three part series of graphics packaging for Missions that Changed The War.  This time it was for a segment call “Germany’s Last Ace” and it was great to collaborate with all involved.  Please check below on my site for other postings of parts one and two.  Credits: Design Director – Hector Espinosa, Creative Director – Brian Eloe, 3D Animation – Chad Jacobson, Editor – Jen Casson

I created these frames a a pitch for Military Channel for their series Missions that Changed the War.  Brian Eloe a Creative Director at Impossible came up with the concept of mixing iconic military images with vector 3D and supporting elements and I went to town creating a balance of the two while following the story of the mission.  The client was stoked when they saw the pitch boards and even happier with the animation! Boards are finished, but there are still two more stories of the animation in production.  Check back for updates.  Credits: Design Director – Hector Espinosa, Creative Director – Brian Eloe   See the motion.

I recently had the pleasure of working on this project for the Military Channel while working at Impossible. Military came to us needing a shot package for a series of spots spanning 2010-2011 that focuses on missions that altered the outcome of World War II. We developed the concept of combining iconic historical imagery and a vector images to deliverer something a bit outside of Military Channels normal package. I created an initial set of concept boards, full style boards, and work on the 2D/3D animation of the spot. Parts two and three to come soon. Dish Network came to Impossible with an awesome script that combined historic college football teams with ESPN and asked Impossible to develop the visuals.  We created a night stadium environment with plummeting monoliths to represent famous college teams.  The spot was completed in nine days and both Dish Network and ESPN were ecstatic with the results.  I worked primarily on the opening shot of the stadium which included: 3D animation, lighting, compositing, and color correction.  On the rest of the spot I worked on compositing and color correction.  Credts:  Creative Director – Steve Urbano  Design Director – Hector Espinosa  Designer Animator – Kevin Liotti  Editor – Jen Casson  Producer – Adam Vogel

This was created as an internal promotional spot for Factory Design Labs “The Power of Orange” campaign. Factory approached their former editor/motion designer Fred Bohm with the concept. He took the concept to another level while working on the pre-production and shooting, then brought me into help out on the planning for 3D camera projection in Cinema 4D. We worked many long hours on this project as a labor of love and are stoked on the results. Take a look and hopefully it will get you excited for when we start to see those first few flakes of snow.
